Rohan Pradeep wins 400m in Jakarta
Sri Lanka's national record holder, Rohan Pradeep Kumara, won the men's
400 metres with a time of 46.19 seconds, while fellow countryman Prasanna
Amarasinghe finished second with a time of 46.55 seconds in the first-leg of
the Asian Grand Prix at Jakarta, Indonesia yesterday.
Rohan Pradeep Kumara lost in the trials a couple of weeks back to
Amarasinghe, who clocked 45.47 seconds at the Sugathadasa Stadium. The
former's timing was 46.30 seconds. The second-leg of the Asian Grand Prix is
on Saturday at Singapore, while the third is at Bankok, Thailand on July 2.
