Urban schools dominate Junior Tarbat

Urban Schools dominated the second day of the Sir John Tarbat Junior Athletic Championship organised by the Sri Lanka Schools, Athletic Association which is being worked off at the Bogambara Stadium in Kandy. Today is the last day. Schools which impressed among the girls competition were Ladies College, St. Bridget's Convent, Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Musaeus College and Visakha Vidyalaya.

In the under 14 Putt Shot, Ladies College girls took the first three places to make a clean sweep of it.

The championship for boys is being dominated by St. Peters College, Royal College, Ananda College and St. Thomas College, Mount Lavinia.
