Caribbean energy agreement signed in Venezuela Leaders from more than 10 countries who attended the 1st Energy Summit of
Caribbean Heads of State and/or Government here spent the day discussing the
draft document to constitute Petrocaribe, a new institution forming part of
a broader energy integration, dubbed "Petroamerica" by Venezuelan President
Hugo Ch vez, and finally signed the agreement, which is based on shared
solidarity.
