by Thileni Wickramaratne
Nilantha is a commercial photographer by profession, but his passion is capturing nature scenes. Nilantha says that as a hobby he adopts bird watching and also studies wildlife. The keen-eyed photographer started off his profession in 1996 at the Sri Lanka Art of Photographic Society and since then he has been clicking his camera. Up to now Nilantha has a winning collection of more than 2000 nature photos. "Phenomenature", carrying the theme nature, will be Nilantha's first
exhibition fe The significant feature of the exhibition is that it will stage photographs of rare insects and lizards that are not often captured by nor sought after by Sri Lankan photographers. There will also be an array of pictures on plants, landscaping, reptiles, birds and mammals.
Nilantha invites all amateur photographers and nature lovers to be present to view his focus on nature. |
