Model bus collector visits again

Guinness World Record holders, Geoff and Linda Price from Walsall in the United Kingdom are visiting Sri Lanka for two weeks in October searching for more model buses and trams to add to their Guinness World Record collection of over 9,200 different models in all shapes and sizes from all over the world. Some models date back to the early 1900s.

Geoff and Linda are on their third trip to Sri Lanka. They have obtained over one hundred different plastic buses during their visits here.

The couple have made many friends in the Kalutara area and helped tsunami victims with financial contributions. Geoff's collection is regularly featured on television and has appeared in numerous collecting magazines and newspapers.

After last year's visit he was pictured on the front page with his 100 models obtained in Sri Lanka in the Express and Star, his local newspaper.
