Villagers were surprised when an illuminating blue coloured light was visible in the sea off Beruwela.

The light was visible from around nine to midnight on Friday.

People flocked to the coast to see the blue coloured light shining over the sea waves. The police advised people not to panic. NARA institution has been informed about the incident, police said.
