The England Women's team were sent into bat and their innings revolved around three good innings by Laura Newton (60), Jenny Gunn (49) and Caroline Atkins( 32). Laura Newton who held the batting together with Jenny Gunn adding 68 for the third wicket. Later Gunn was associated in a 45 run stand with Caroline Harper for the fourth wicket that laid the platform for their final score of 206 for 9. |
