Bomb attack in Akkaraipattu by Ananada Pathiraja All shops were closed at Akkaraipattu following a bomb attack on a mosque yesterday. Four people were killed and another thirty injured, police sources told the Sunday Observer. Sources added that people in the area had launched protest campaign by blocking roads in the city. The attackers had fled away after throwing the bomb while people were praying in the mosque at 7.30 am. |
