Kumarasiri the best performer

24-year-old Ruwan Prasad Kumarasiri of Friend-in-Need Society, Jaipur Foot Programme was judged the most outstanding performer at the 9th Aidex Sports Meet concluded at the Sports Ministry grounds, Reid Avenue yesterday.

Kumarasiri was awarded the trophy for winning the first places in the 400m below the knee, and 100m below the knee races and for winning the second place in the long jump event.

Over 317 disable men and women, boys and girls of different age groups participated in over 52 events in the annual meet.
