VETHANAYAGAM - ROSE PADMINI  Beloved wife of late Dr Albert Vethanayagam and sister of late Ellala and Rajah Proctor, late Mrs Pathma Thamotharam and Mrs Sara Supramaniam (New Castle) and sister-in-law of Mrs Rani Hensman (Colombo) passed away peacefully in Brisbane on 30th October. She was the loving mother of Dr Chandi Vethanayagam (NSW), Sulogini Thambiratnam (Brisbane), Dr Preethi Vethanayagam (NSW) and Gita Jeevaratnam (Sydney), mother-in-law of Bella (NSW), Professor Padman Thambiratnam (Brisbane), Penny (NSW) and Jeyan Jeevaratnam (Sydney), and grand mother of Preshan, Kitty, Sherita, Shemira and Keshana. A service of thanksgiving was held in Brisbane on the 2nd of November. Her remains were laid to rest in Sydney alongside her beloved husband on the 4th of November.
