Grey Global Group launched G2 and Geometry, its specialised communication divisions on December 1 in Sri Lanka. A global powerhouse in consumer engagement communication, G2 is widely acknowledged to be the pioneers and foremost practitioners of consumer touchpoint management.

G2 globally has created quite a mark for itself by successfully delivering solutions for global power brands such as Absolute Vodka, Nike, Guiness, Diet Coke and Volkswagen G2's specialisation lies in brand building solutions beyond conventional advertising. Started in 1999, headquarted in New York and present in 43 countries, G2's new thrust is in South East Asia where brands increasingly require solutions beyond conventional advertising.

The Senior VP of G2, Mark Steven one of the most respected G2 resources in the region, was in Sri Lanka for the launch. "G2 is one of the most exacting Grey brands in the world and takes brand building to a new dimension, after creating success stories in the US, Europe and east Asia.

This region is now the focus and here we are, offering our exciting specialised solutions to the clients," Stevens said.

G2 has pioneered the concept of shopper marketing, which is the new buzz word among the global FMCGs, Retail environment media, Consumer relationship events and other forms of one-on-one marketing.
