President at S.Thomas’ College Colours Nite


President Mahinda Rajapakse (fourth from left) took time off from his busy schedule to be at the S. Thomas’ College Gymnasium to witness the Thomian Colours Nite on Friday evening. It was a special occasion for President Rajapakse with Mrs. Shiranthi Rajapakse to witness their son - Thomian captain Namal winning the Best Ruggerite’s Award. S. Thomas’ College Warden Dr. David Ponniah (third from left) was also present at the function. The chief guest was former dig Police S. Thangavelu (second from left) - a prominent boxer in his day.
