Marching towards excellence

Ananda College Colombo has passed yet another milestone on her way towards excellence securing several awards overseas participating in International Convention on Students' Quality Control Circles 2005 in Lucknow, India, from December 2 to December 5.

Ananda outshone 205 schools representing twenty eight countries winning awards for their achievements for the Most Enthusiastic Performance" the 'Damin Award' Second Place at case-study presentation (stream A-7) while the drama presented by the team was ajudged the 3rd.

Harshana Molligoda was chosen the best actor at the convention, Mevan Gunathilaka contended for the best speaker award. Ananda quality circle quiz team was selected for this final round as the only team selected from Sri Lankan schools and was placed 4th.
