Help baby Umar

Baby Mohammed Umar of 544, Mulleriyawa South Godella Mawatha, is suffering from a severe heart condition. Consultant, Cardio Thoracic Surgeon of Sri Jayawardenapura Hospital has recommended urgent surgery.

The operation cost is estimated to be Rs. 350,000. His parents are unable to meet the expenses and seeks public support.

Financial support needed

Young Anandian ruggerite P.G.M.Prasad Kumara suffers from a shoulder instability identified as Hill Sachs lesion of the right humeral head and a Bankart lesion of the glenoid fossa, according to Dr. M. de Almeida the Orthopaedic Surgeon of the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children.

At present in Sri Lanka Arthroscopic repair of the Bankart lesion is not performed, only open repair is done.

Dr.Steven D Zaretssky MD of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine LLC NY has offered to conduct the surgical procedure. The cost of the surgical operation is about Rs. 3 m.
