Bhikkhu continues tsunami housing project

Venerable Rajakeeya Panditha Pannila Sri Ananda Nayake Thera, with the help of local and foreign philanthropists, took steps to initiate, a house construction program for the tsunami-hit houseless in the Galle district. Program intended to build 336 new houses altogether, and 150 houses built at its first stage had been handed over to the needy people two months ago.

Another 100 new houses built at the second stage of the program were distributed at Telwatta, to the needy at a ceremony organised by the Thera where the Southern Province Governor, Kingsley T. Wickremaratne participated as the chief guest.
