Hewage match-bag of 10/85 including hat-trick

Cambrian vice-captain Pishan Hewage had an all-round performance, scoring 69 runs and taking a match-bag of 10 for 85 runs including a hat-trick in the first innings in their inter-school cricket match against D. S. Senanayake College, which ended in a draw.

In reply to Cambrians total of 222 for 9 declared, D. S. Senanayake College were all out for 83 runs with Pishan Hewage capturing 6 for 41 runs. Following on, D. S. Senanayake did much better to score 287 for 9 at the close. Gayashan Weerasekera was unbeaten on 116 runs while Damith Mapa contributed 76 runs.

D. S. Senanayake College 83 (Isuru Udara 21, Pishan Hewage 6/41, Isuru Gunasena 2/25) and 287/9 (Gayashan Weerasekera 116 not out, Damith Mapa 76, Pishan Hewage 4/44, Shanaka Peiris 3/47).
