Tsunami Disaster Relief tops Rs. 26 billion The Central Bank of Sri Lanka in a press release said Rs. 26,552.8 million has been received by the Government, non-Governmental Organisations and others in Sri Lanka as private, foreign and local donations through banking channels towards tsunami disaster relief as at January 31. This includes Rs. 3,356.3 million received by the Government mainly through the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and two state commercial banks.
