DE SILVA GUNAWARDENA -DAYA (Mrs Sator de Zoysa)  - Beloved wife of the late Rannulu  Sator de Zoysa of Akurala Talgahawatte Talalla and Chairman Village Council Madampe, loving mother of Nandimitta (former State Minister of Rural Industries), Tissa (Businessman Talalla), Padma (former Librarian Matara Urban Council), Gamini (Tourist Guide Aitken Spence), Chandra, Shanthie (Chef), Upali (Ocean Reef), Sriyani, Pushpakumara (former Southern Provincial Member), mother-in-law of Ruwanmalee (Retired Teacher), Tamara, Sanath (Teacher Manthinda), Preethi (Licensed Surveyor), Shumpika, Saman (Businessman), Janaki, expired. Funeral at 4.30 p.m. on Sunday 12th at Family Burial Ground, Akurala. The cortege leaves residence Kuleegoda, Suduwelikada Road at 4.00 p.m.

PINTO - GERTRUDE MIRIAM (Nee HEWA SAHABANDU) Wife of late Moragodage Peter Vincent Pinto, daughter of late Rev. Edwin Lionel & Esther Sahabandu, sister of Lily, Agnes, Beatrice, Mercy, Lionel, Wesley George (All deceased) and of Wellington, precious mother of Merle (Sri Lanka), Barbara, Rose & Joe (Canada), Lilian and Manel (USA), mother-in-law of late Mervyn Goonesekera and Israel Jesudason and of Chintha and Nihal Abeywardena, grandmother of Peter, Bernadette, Martin, Lloyd and George (UK), David, Sharmal, Luke, Veronica, Tony, Shiromi, Samantha (Canada), Anthony, Michael, Michelle, Karen & Christian (USA), passed away peacefully at the age of 97 years at the family residence in Toronto, Canada on 24th February 2006. WALGAMPAYA - SEETHA Beloved wife of the late Justice C.B. Walgampaya, dearly beloved mother of Gamini, Senaka, Cavinda, Malkanthi, Visakha, the late Devinda and Dhammika, dear mother-in-law of Ranmala, Dilrukshi, Jeeth, Dr Gamani Goonetilleka, Prof. C.B.
