Loving husband of Shanti (nee Curtis), loving father of Justin and Jayne Rajaratnam and Shanika and Roshan Abraham, loving appa of Kieran Rajaratnam, son of Mrs Nesam and the late Mr S.C. Rajaratnam, beloved brother of Ratna and Jimmy Rajaratnam and Chandra and the late Donald Chelliah. Funeral was held in Toronto, Canada on March 4 2006.

Cremation took place at 2.45 p.m. at Blair Chapel, Melbourne, Australia on Thursday 9th March 2006. Friends and relatives are kindly requested to accept this intimation. Intimated by K.G. Thambyah of Ratnapura, brother of late Shelton (Ratnapura), late  Percy (New Zealand), late Bertram (Ratnapura) and of Stanley, Lilian Gnanasunderam (New Zealand) and Jeyam Jegasothy (New Zealand), brother-in-law of Meena Thambiahpillai, son-in-law of the late Mr and Mrs S. Amirthalingam of Jaffna, expired. Remains  lie at A.F. Raymond's Funeral Parlour from 10 a.m. on Sunday 19th of March.
