ABAYASEKERA - T.F.K. (Tiddy) (Formerly C.C.S.) Beloved husband of Audrey (nee Vanderstraaten), passed away in England on 22nd March & was cremated on 29th March. Brother of Roy & Revd. Jeffrey & of late Olga, Tita, Githa, Dugald, Belle & Ronnie. 26, Park Gate, Somerhill Road, Hove, Sussex BN3 IRL, England. 

AMBALAVANAR SHANMUGARAJAH (SHAN) - Vaddukoddai. A. Shanmugararajah, retired Director - Sri Lanka Telecommunication Dept. Born at Vaddukoddai and lived in U.S.A. passed away on the 30th of March 2006 in London. He is the eldest son of late Mr Ambalavanar and Mrs Sivapakkiyam and beloved husband of Saraswathdevi, he is the father of Vasanthi Harandran (Hari), London, Sam Daranimahalingam (Sutha U.S.A.) and Ravathy Mahenrarajah (Prasanth), Singapore. He is the son-in-law of late Mr Rajah Somasundram Malayan Pensioneer. Funeral takes place on Wednesday 5th of April 2006 in London. Informant Mr A Krishnar (brother), Colombo. T.P. 2575640. 

FERNANDO - BENITO (DR N.A.B. Fernando)  Beloved husband of Iranganie, adored father of Mali, Roshi and Ishani, much loved father-in-law of Adolfo, Tom and John, darling seeya of Edward, Isobel, Miranda, Spiky, Ciara and Arun, son of late Mr and Mrs B.G.R. Fernando, loving brother of late Jenitta, late Greta and Clinton, Geofrey and Indra and Ranjit and Birgit, passed away on 16th March 2006. (Principal of Wesley College 1995-2000. Member of National and District Church Committees and Local Preacher of the Methodist Church in the UK and Sri Lanka. Forty years service to Education in the UK and Sri Lanka. Founder Member of The Association of Sri Lankans in the UK. Completed London Marathon five times). There will be an opportunity to say farewell to Dr Fernando on Friday 7th April 2006 from 8 a.m. to 10.45 a.m. followed by a Service celebrating his life and achievements at 10.45 a.m. at Wesley College, Colombo 8. Private family funeral and interment will follow in Moratuwa. The family requests no flowers and any donations should  be made to Wesley College, Colombo 8.

Principal of Wesley Colledge 1995-2000, Member of National and District Church Committees and Local Preacher of the Methodist Church in the UK and Sri Lanka, Forty years service to education in the UK and Sri Lanka, Founder Member of the Association of Sri Lankans in the U.K., completed London Marathon five times. There will be an opportunity to say farewell to Dr Fernando for family and friends on Thursday 6th April 2006 between 10.00 a.m. and 8.00 p.m. at A.F. Raymond Ltd., 115, D.S. Senanayake Mawatha, Colombo 8 and on Friday 7th April 2006 from 8.00 a.m. to 10.45 a.m. for the Wesley College, Community followed by a Service celebrating his life and achievements at 10.45 a.m. at Wesley College, Colombo 8. FERNANDO - GRETA SWARNATHILEKA (nee PERERA)(Retired Teacher of St. Paul's Kelaniya and The Institute of Western Music and Speech). Wife of late Quentin, mother of Senaka and Theja and mother-in-law of Jenny and Supem Tissera (all of Australia), sister of late Primus Perera and late Gertrude de Silva, expired. Funeral took place at Springvale Crematorium Australia. A Memorial Service will be held in Sri Lanka and the date will be notified later. Intimated by Manel 2931104 (niece). 

FERNANDO - ISIDORE Beloved son of late Mr and Mrs Kurukulasuriya Benedict Fernando of Negombo, brother of late Nichol, Antony, Austela Martino, Walter, Pearl de Mel, Kingsley and of Stella Fernando, brother-in-law of late Margie, Joseph, Clarice, Percy, Oscar and of Bernie Fernando. Lavinia), sister of late Nalina, and of Hemasiri Gunaratne, sister-in-law of Ranjith Lokuge, Chandramali Perera, late Nimal Munasinghe, late Nandani Wickramaratne, Padmini Jayasinghe, Asoka Devasurendra, Thamaramali Kumarasinghe, Yasamali Jayakody, late Padma, and of Hilda Gunaratne, Sita, Ariyaratna, Malkanthi, Wimal, Keerthi, Upul, Kumar, Wimal, passed away.
