Janashakthi launches cashless hospitalisation plan
Janashakthi Insurance Company launched a convenient method of
settling hospitalisation bills with 'Janashakthi Pay Direct', the
cashless hospitalisation plan.
In the event of a sickness, which demands hospitalisation, the
policyholder can simply submit a 'Janashakthi pay direct' membership
card to the hospital. There will be no cash required, which is unlike in
the case of traditional reimbursement policies. The membership card will
allow the customer to be admitted to the hospital without an initial
deposit whilst allowing the customer to be discharged from the hospital
without even paying a single cent. The hospital payment will be settled
through Janashakthi Pay Direct.
"Janashakthi Pay Direct - Cashless hospitalisation is designed to
provide the customer with financial assistance that they will require in
an emergency. We have certainly understood the need and we believe in
providing an unparalleled solution, although health insurance in general
make thin margins the world over," said the Managing Director of
Janashakthi Insurance Company, C. T. A. Schaffter.
"It's time that we seek how best we can manage uncertainties rather
than seeking solutions for them. This concept replaces the traditional
hospitalisation reimbursement schemes prevailing in the market, where
policyholders will have to make payments either from borrowings or using
their savings," said Deputy General Manager Sales and Marketing of
Janashakthi Insurance, Ravi Liyanage. |
