Ceypetco to be computerised

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (Ceypetco) is modernising its fuel stations (sheds) using the latest technology available. "With the aim of providing an efficient service to the customers, we would be computerising all our fuel stations", Ceylon Petroleum Corporation Chairman and Managing Director Jaliya Medagama told the Sunday Observer.

According to the new computerisation plans, all Ceypetco fuel stations will enable the credit card use.

The Ceypetco Chairman also said that their pilot project automating in Tissamaharama and Balangoda was more successful than they expected. He also said that arrangements would be made to expand the service throughout the island within the next six months.
