TALKING POINT: Hijacked and hijacked!

The controversial leader of the CMC Independent Group(3), Suppiah Rajendran is a man who could appear and disappear. This comedy started after the CMC poll. Early this week, it was reported that he had been threatened by a section of the 'Greens'.

Later, he went missing. Strong rumours spread like wild fire that he was abducted by some members of the security staff of a leader who is Green. A former deputy in the city is being charged by others in the 'Green' camp for abduction.

Be that as it may, Rajendran was said to have been dropped near Taj Samudra on Friday afternoon by the 'kidnappers', from where he proceeded to the Kotahena police to make a statement. Some say, the vanishing trick was self imposed.

Shutterbugs who called at his residence were told that Rajendran got a call from Ranil Wickremesinghe and the former is at Cambridge Terrace. Men at Cambridge Terrace denied Rajendran was their. He had gone missing from Cambridge Terrace. Who abducted him from there is the question?
