Easy for Trinity

Trinity had no difficulty in registering a convincing 36 points (4 goals, 1 try, 1 penalty) to nil win over Dharmaraja in their schools rugby match at Bogambara yesterday. At half time the Lions led 19-0.

St. Sylvester's 13 - 5

St. Sylvesters scored their third win for the season when they scored a narrow 13 points (2 tries, 1 penalty) to 5 (1 try) win over Nalanda, in their schools rugby match at the Bogambara Stadium in Kandy on Friday. There was no scoring in the first half.

Kingswood bounces back

Kingswood bounced back to be one of the strong contenders for the schools rugby league championship when they removed the unbeaten tag on St. Peter's College by defeating 26 points (1 goal, 2 tries, 3 drop goals) to 15 (3 tries) at Bogambara. At half time Kingswood led 18 - 5.

Antonians win 28-22

St. Anthony's had to struggle all the way before registering a 28 points (4 goals) to 22 (2 goals, 1 try, 1 penalty) win over Ananda in their schools rugby match at Nittawela yesterday. At half the Anthonians led 14-8.

Vidyartha 39-7

Vidyartha, had no difficulty in registering a comfortable 39 points (2 goals, 5 tries) to 7 (1 goal) win over Science College, Mount Lavinia in their schools rugby match at Nittawela on Friday. At half time Vidyartha led 24 - 0.
