Chamil and Suwaneetha NEGC champs

Chamil Wickremasinghe and Suwaneetha Selvaratnam were the overall winners among the men and women at the SriLankan NEGC Golf Tour where 125 golfers participated for honours.

Suwaneetha also won the Women’s Group ‘A’ Handicap event, while Wickremasinghe won the same event for men.
Top junior Danushi Senadhira was the runner-up in the Women’s Group ‘A’ Handicap.

SriLankan Airlines staff also shone at the tournament with Nalin Rodrigo (Head of Worldwide Cargo) winning the runner-up trophy in the Men’s Group ‘C’ Handicap. Vice-Captain of the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club (NEGC) Errol Johnston was the runner-up in the Men’s Group ‘B’ Handicap.

All winners received air tickets, courtesy SriLankan Airlines with the two overall winners receiving a challenge trophy and a Business Class air ticket to any of SriLankan Airlines destinations in the Far East.
