Tie-up in hi-tech identification solutions

The Hayleys Group and Bartronics India Limited (BIL) launched a major collaboration to develop and market leading edge technology based identification solutions in Sri Lanka through the Hayleys' logistics solutions subsidiary Logiventures Ltd., (LVL).

The partnership formalised in Colombo paves the way for the two companies to co-operate for the provision of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification Devices), Barcode, Smart Card and similar AIDC (Automatic Identification and Data Capturing) based supply-chain and security improvement solutions to users in Sri Lanka.

These solutions will be customised for applications in sectors such as retailing, manufacturing, assembly, logistics and healthcare, catering to the needs of identification, sorting and classification, tracking and inventory management.

The agreement envisages that the two companies will collaborate in identifying, marketing, planning, designing, component-sourcing, system development and implementation for prospective customers.
