Millers embarks on latest photo venture

Millers Ltd, claimed the pioneer in the local photography industry,
recently took on the role of the authorised distributor and accredited
service provider for Noritsu Minilab Systems, accredited to Japan.
This photographic finishing system is distributed in Sri Lanka,
India, Pakistan, Cambodia and Malaysia by Noritsu Singapore, (Pte) Ltd.
The Singaporean firm, in turn are the agents for Noritsu Koki Company of
Japan, claimed to be the world leader in Digital Photographic Minilab
Systems.
Their latest innovation QSS-3501i Digital Minilab is maintained to
have a wealth of practical features. Priced at Rs. 7.4 million, it is
also said to be a very cost-effective system that offers many new
features, useful to studios, known in the trade as photo-finishing
retailers.
Bin Ahamed's Colombo 4, purchased the first compact minilab system.
HNB Leasing provides leasing facilities for the Noritsu minilabs, at
an easy-to-pay-back options, it was explained to photo-finishing
retailers.
Millers General Manager (Marketing), Dilano Dias said that Millers
through its long experience in its photo finishing outlets with Noritsu
QSS minilabs, has hands-on experience with internationally trained
engineers to service and maintain all machinery locally. Millers provide
a 24-hour service centre support to all Noritsu Minilab users in Sri
Lanka and prides itself at being associate with the Singaporean firm.
Managing Director of the Singapore firm, A. Higashi told
photo-finishing retailers that with the diversification of consumer
demand, every minilab shop now seems to have its own unique business
style. Some shops offer only a digital camera print service and some
handle both film and digital media.
With a wealth of state-of-the-art image processing technology
incorporated into a compact frame, the QSS-35 series provides a flexible
line of products that offer a good solution for the photo finishing
business.
The Operations Manager K. B. Leon, said that with a selection of film
scanners and monitors, and with a wide variety of options to choose
from, the "highly practical" QSS-35 provides the freedom to mix and
match components to configure a system that meets the needs of a photo
finisher.
Leon said that with the flexible QSS-350/3502 systems, dealers could
have a wide variety of layout possibilities and options to chose from,
so they can customerise their compact and convenient system to
effectively meet their needs. |
