Abans felicitates dealers

Abans held the annual get-together of all their dealers at the Galadari Hotel in Colombo recently. As in previous years, this year's event too was a success, with the management of Abans sparing no pains to felicitate their partners, a spokesman for the company said.

The spokesperson said the event started with the arrival of the directors and the lighting of the oil lamp followed by a brief welcome speech by Lalindra Brahakmana, DGM of Abans Limited.

Every year, Abans recognises the achievements of their dealers during the previous year. The Gold Award for the highest achieved sales target for the year was won by Nelson Trading Company of Colombo, while the Silver and Bronze Awards were won by Laksala Trade Centre, Kiribathgoda and Welcome Marketing Services, Panadura.

The others among the 20 top achievers were Manoj Enterprises - Colombo, Nelson Dharmasena and Co., Colombo, Dilshan Trade Centre, Chilaw, Jaffna Electricals, Jaffna, MR Trading, Colombo, Paragon Electronics, Ratmalana, Aadhil Enterprises, Colombo, Uni Tech, Colombo, Kumara Free Trade Centre, Borella, Sundarson, Jaffna, Mangalasiri Trade Centre, Colombo, Ceylinco Consumer, Malabe, Samarasiri Electronics, Maharagama, Shantha Stores, Kuliyapitiya, Senadeera Multy Shop, Gampaha, Priyantha Trading, Panadura and Himali Trade Centre, Agalawatte.

Abans also organised 42 of their dealers with tour packages to five different destinations. The dealers to be awarded tours to Europe were Manoj Enterprises-Colombo, Welcome Marketing Services, Panadura and Nelson Trading Company, Colombo 11.

Tour packages to Indonesia were awarded to Dilshan Trade Centre, Mahawela and Nethumi Trade Centre, Kandy. Tour Packages to Dubai were awarded to Himali Trade Centre, Agalawatte, Jaffna Electricals, Jaffna and MR Trading, Colombo 11.

Tour packages to Malaysia were awarded to Kumara Free Trade Centre, Borella, Ceylinco Consumer Electronics, Malabe, Nalinda Traders, Habaraduwa, Sundarson, Jaffna, Uni-Tech, Colombo, Siyana Electronics, Yakkala, Star Trading, Kandana, S. M. A.
