Unusual location for a swimming pool

A group of leading tour operators from Germany, who were on their maiden visit to Sri Lanka, was impressed by the unique swimming pool, constructed in the centre of a lush tea estate, at Ginigathhena, at Breeta's Garden Hotel.

The beautiful and large swimming pool, at Breeta's Garden, Hotel, is said to be a unique feature as it is one of the very few swimming pools constructed in the hill country.

Guests get a panoramic view of the beautiful mountains and waterfalls surrounding Breeta's Garden Hotel, while having a dip in the pool.

Speaking to Ajith Bandara Managing Director Breeta's Garden one tourist said that the location of the swimming pool, surrounded by misty mountains and beautiful water falls, built on top of a lush tea estate, is one of the most fascinating sites he had ever seen anywhere in the world.
