LTTE targets STF truck

LTTE terrorists targeted a Special Task Force (STF) truck by detonating a claymore mine near the Eluvaththuval hospital on the Akkaraipattu - Kalmunai road, Batticaloa, around 10.15 a.m. yesterday.

Three out of four occupants in the vehicle were injured and admitted to Eluvathuval hospital.

One of them sustained severe injuries. During the last 24 hours LTTE terrorists targeted the Security Forces detonating Claymore mines and seven servicemen have sustained injuries.
