Pegasus Reef Hotel, Hendala, the 'City Resort' of 4-star category status, which went through a re-modelling programme recently, has now introduced many novel features to attract more foreign and local guests.

The 'new look' Pegasus has introduced week-end specials. The Saturday night BBQ has become very popular among in-house guests and outsiders. It offers a wide spread of BBQ items - a variety of meats and the 'catch of the day' from the Uswatakeiyawa Beach for seafood lovers, all items grilled to perfection. Live music too is provided for entertainment.

Pegasus Reef Hotel takes a carnival atmosphere on Sundays. The hotel offers a Sunday afternoon buffet with a wide spread of Western, Eastern, and Sri Lankan cuisine, with a 'BBQ corner' and a salad and dessert buffet.

Live music too is provided. The buffet is inclusive of the free use of the swimming pool. 'It's money's worth' says Restaurant and Bar Manager, Zaki Amath. A Sunday outing at Pegasus is an ideal family spot especially for beach lovers, as the beautiful beach adjacent to Pegasus Reef, is ideal for swimming, Resident Manager, Ravi Kurukulasuriya said.
