St. Peter's plans big celebrations for rugby football

St. Peter's has had a wonderful rugby football season this year and to prop their morale up for the future the Peterites won both the Inter-School Under 20 'A' division league championship and the President's Trophy knock-out tournaments.

The success of the Peterites is not just a flash in the pan effort as the school has had a long history in the game since 1932. This year in the 75th year in rugby football and the school authorities are making elaborate plans to celebrate the occasion in a fitting manner.

The Old Boys Union of St. Peter's, plan to big preparations and they have decided to have a database of all the Peterites who represented the school in rugby football.

All Peterites who have represented the school from 1932 to 2006 from under 11 to under 20 are requested to contact the St. Peter's Old Boys Union, invite all past rugby football captains, players and surviving family members (of those rugby players who have passed away) who are living here in Sri Lanka or overseas to furnish their individual contact details along with the years represented to either one of the following members of the OBU: E-mail: Sujith ([email protected]) Hamza- [email protected], [email protected], then on the telephone - Sujith: 0777320033, Hamza - 0773624443, Trinesh - 0777334626, Fazal - 0777562040 or by post: C/o Secretary, Sports Development Committee, St. Peter's College, Colombo 4.
