Lenovo launches 300N computers
Lenovo, a leading international technology company launched the 300N
range computers to tap the emerging PC market in Sri Lanka.
Lenovo, Managing Director, Neeraj Sharma said the introduction of the
300N range products to Sri Lanka follows the global launch early this
year.
Sri Lanka is an important market for Lenovo to promote the brand in
the region. We have expanded our product portfolio to tap the emerging
PC market and increase the market share in Sri Lanka, he said.
The Lenovo 3000 N100 notebooks are ideal for small and medium
businesses (SMBs) in Sri Lanka as they provide reliable technology with
features such as integrated camera and fingerprint reader.
We complement the PC market and address all segments with this
launch, he said.
The Lenovo products feature some of the latest technologies for SMB
and consumers that were traditionally available only for large
enterprises. The Lenovo Care suite for example, simplifies owning and
operating a PC by automating many routine and maintenance tasks through
a unique suite of productivity tools.
Lenovo products will be serviced and supported through a vast IBM
service and support network. The Lenovo 3000 range of products are
designed and developed to be simple and worry free.
The Lenovo 3000 products are aimed at catering to the SMB and
consumer segment and not the corporate segment. We cater to the
corporate, large enterprise segment with our Think range of products -
the ThinkPad and ThinkCentre PCs.
The Think range of PCs is the ultimate business productivity tool
backed by solid quality and lowest TCO.
The ThinkVantage suite of tools in them are innovative PC software
tools designed by Lenovo to make PCs self-healing, self-managing, self-optimising
and self-protecting and address all issues that could become a "pain
point" for users in personal computing. This makes it an ideal product
range for our enterprise/corporate customers and some SMB customers that
have their own IT management team.
Today, PCs have become a vital part of our communication,
entertainment and professional system. Whether they cater to the
requirements of the corporate segment, the businessman or the home
consumer, PCs have become crucial in the whole set up.
Users definitely gain more know-how about technology in products as
they become keen to know about new trends and upgrades, Sharma said.
With the Internet, PCs have become indispensable for any business or
home. People are able to communicate easier, faster and cheaper. They
are able to run their business better organised and more efficiently.
They are empowered to utilise multimedia tools to enhance their skills
and knowledge.
The new Lenovo 3000 notebooks showcase some of the best in class
features introduced in this generation of products such as integrated
microphone, integrated combo drive, integrated camera and fingerprint
reader. Each feature is technologically-advanced, contemporary and is
prevalent in the global PC market today.
