Pubudu, Dilan best performers

BADMINTON: Two prominent shuttlers Dilan Yasantha of Ceylon Petroleum Corporation and Pubudu Wanigasekera of Lake House took the spotlight when they were presented the Best Performances of the Year awards at the Nationalised Services Badminton Association of Sri Lanka awards ceremony held at Taj Samudra Hotel.

Dilan received the Men's Best Performance of the Year 2006 for his achievements-runner-up men's 'A' division league tournament, runner-up men's 'A' division knock out tournament, winner mens singles open tournament men's doubles open tournament and mixed doubles open tournament.

Pubudu was awarded the trophy for Best Performances of the Year 2005 (women).

She dominated winning the Women's 'B' division league and knock out tournament. Winner of the Women's singles open tournament, mixed doubles open tournament and the runner-up women's doubles open tournament.
