He needs funds for heart surgery

G. S. Abeysekera of Ja-ela South is suffering from a condition known as Tight Mitral Stenosis with moderate Aortic Stenosis and regurgitation and Dr. Aruna Kapuruge, Consultant Cardio - thoracic Surgeon of Sri Jayawardenepura Gen. Hospital, recommends heart surgery for Double Valve replacement.

The surgery is expected to cost around Rs. 425,000 and a sum of Rs. 225,000 is expected to be released from the President's Fund, shortly.

Abeysekera and his wife appeal to the generous public to contribute towards the balance Rs. 200,000 by remitting to his wife's A/c (Mrs. W. N. H. Sugathapala) - 5761155 of the Bank of Ceylon, Lake House branch.
