Housing loans for Ceylinco FastCash remitters

Seylan Bank has commenced processing housing loans for its Ceylinco FastCash remitters. The loan scheme is proving to be popular among Sri Lankans living and working in the UAE.

All Ceylinco FastCash remitters are eligible to apply for a housing loan on completing a minimum of six remittances to their loved ones in Sri Lanka.

A.A. Prashantha Atapattu, a recipient of the first Housing loan employed at the City Creek in Dubai, thanked Seylan Bank for the prompt disbursement of the loan.

He said that the facility would enable his family to have their own dwelling. On the subject of the remittance service, he said that Ceylinco FastCash was providing a fast and personalised service to the Sri Lankan community in the UAE.

Ceylinco FastCash was introduced in Sri Lanka by Seylan Bank as an international money transfer service to facilitate speedy and reliable money transfers mainly for expatriate workers in the UAE and Singapore along with a host of value added services including a loyalty card, known as 'WishCard' that incorporates other unique features such as personal loan schemes, insurance, doorstep delivery of cash and eligibility to apply for housing loans.

Another special feature of the 'WishCard' is the instant advice of the money transfer to the beneficiary via SMS. The facility also provides for the sender to be informed once the beneficiary receives the funds, where the system will generate a SMS back to the sender once the disbursement is effected.
