Take note of yourself

It isn't rarely that one observes the coarse behaviour in public of some of the so-called beauties and good-lookers. Mannerisms can add volumes to your appearance, for example the most glamorous women can create a bleak view of herself with the tone of her voice, whenever you speak!

Try listening to yourself, this will give you an idea of how to use your voice effectively, you must also make sure you master the art of conversation because having nothing to say is as bad as saying the wrong things. It is common sight some guests spend an entire evening not getting to know their other fellow guests, leave alone saying something of interest. Avoid yourself being listed as a gobble-an-go-guest.

Eat Moderately

You can certainly enjoy your food which is quite contrary to filling yourself-up, right selection of dishes,

Beauty is only skin deep it is said, this may well be true if you do not take into note of all the other attributes that add up to making your appearance have some deeper meaning.

specially at a Buffet service does not go unnoticed, your ability to match and compliment your selection in food from amongst a varied spread instead of haphazardly racing through it, this calls for restrain and discipline which cannot be acquired overnight.

Keep the controversy to yourself

Do not touch on sensitive topics however current they may be, unless you are capable of coating it with layers of diplomacy, harsh and unkind statements spoken through lips coated even with the most expensive colouring will not reduce the bad effects it can bear on the listener, avoid going on a rampage simply to get yourself noticed, unless you feel that it is the only way to hold centre stage.

Look comfortable in your clothes

This does not mean Jeans and T-shirt all the way, A lot of options are available in trends, select something to suite your appearance and style, if you are an older person? You have to be more dignified in what you appear in and it should suite the occasion, in comparison to the younger set, youth covers up many flaws.

Some people you meet have created a style for themselves over the years, be careful and avoid landmark fashion caricatures that will need more than your personal charisma to be carried through.

Colour plays a major role, it is very rarely that you find some one who can wear through a large range of colours. Today we see many people sporting black not realizing how severe some of them can look in that so-called fashionable tone, of colour.

Accessorise your clothes to the maximum, if it takes? the minimalist trend only makes you look wasted, look celebrated not in a pretentious way, instead of appearing used and dumped, as Asians we have plus climatic conditions to complement ourselves with colour when we dress up, than our western friends, so these are some of the attributes that can add to your personality and reflect upon your appearance as more than skin deep, the right mannerisms, social eating patterns, correct dress sense and your total attitude towards life will add up to bringing out the best in you.
