Peterites remain unbeaten with 24-3 win over Trinity

UGBY: St. Peter's continued their winning streak to remain unbeaten in the current schools rugby season beating Trinity by 24 points (3 goals, 1 penalty to 3 (1 drop goal) at Bambalapitiya yesterday.

The Peterites opened scoring through a penalty by fly half Irfath Meedin in the 12th minute with Trinity making the equaliser with a drop goal by fly half Kenneth Jacobs.

Then the Peterites took the lead with a try by prop Arjuna Bopitiya converted by Meedin. After lemons, Bopitiya scored his second try of the evening with No 8 Haran

Ariyawardene scoring another try with Meedin making no mistake with the conversions to make it 24-3.
