Snow Fall Fiesta

'Outside the snow is falling..' reminiscing that memorable Christmas
carol making all hearts aflutter during this joyous season, Sri Lankans
often wonder how snow feels like. We dream of how it looks, how it feels
and how it tastes as well. Now Santa grants that wish at Excel World.
Excel World continues to keep to its Christmas promise that has now
become a tradition with 'Snow Fall 2007'. Gifting this to the cheerful
public for the 5th consecutive time, the whole family can now celebrate
Christmas in true festive spirit. "Christmas is a festive season enjoyed
by all and this is an ideal time for family entertainment and
fun,"commented Ranjana Ariyaratne, the General Manager of Excel World.
They aim to attract children and give them a good time this season.
 Commencing from 8th December onwards, a new twist of fun and
excitement will be added to the 'Snow Fall' theme. Different
entertainment activities like DJ music, Karaoke competitions, film shows
and magic shows will make the children happy.
To spread the Christmas cheer, a Giant Christmas tree is present at
the venue to take those lovely family photographs. The Christmassy theme
with dazzling decorations all around will set the holiday mood right.
Funny cartoon characters like the Teletubbies and Mickey Mouse will
shake hands and pose for pictures.
The Snow Dome where the snowfalls can accommodate upto 500 people and
this is complete with a green igloo spilling with creamy snow sheets. A
sprout of snow foam shoots upwards from the ground giving a better snowy
effect.
Show times are scheduled from Monday through Thursday with 3 shows at
6:30 pm, 8:00 pm and 9:30 pm and from Friday to Sunday there are 4 shows
at 6:00 pm, 7:30 pm, 9:00 pm and 10:30 pm.
Excel World is the amusement park where continuous fun rides are
prevalent like Cinamatric - a 4D motion thriller ride, Lazer Runner -
Competitive lazer gaming, Ground Zero & Game Zone - gaming arcades,
Shotz Pool Lounge, Strikes Bowling Center and an exclusive Food Court. |
