Big-mouthed lady

Only 19 of the 49 members turned up when Retired Big Lady called the Hand Party's Balamandalaya at her hometown of Attana the Galle. When she blasted Attana Baba for poor organising skills, there was heavy resistance. "How could she serve the people when she criticises her ownbro," a member whispered.

Same game

Wedding Sam is on a low profile these days. Having played different cards unsuccessfully ever since he was sacked by MR from the C-Pack, Sam could only turn to his right Royal leader. Of course, they play the same game.

Sam's consultant

A dejected Wedding Sam last week consulted the Retired Big Lady to get an opinion on their future moves. The big-mouthed lady advised Sam to team up with Attana Baba.

She promised Wedding Sam, to play a key role behind the scene to bring the greens to power.

Under fire

Many Elephant Party stalwarts have openly criticised Ra-Blue's decision to boycott the Independence ceremony. They pointed out that their founder leader Dee Es played a key role in the past, though 60 years later, the greens have got a leader who disrespects it.

Youthful Mahinda

Mahinda the Sam was in Australia on an official summit when he got a call from MR on his birthday morning. When MR asked which birthday it was, his namesake said he was 52. But MR said he does not look that old. "I am a man who does not harm anyone. That's the secret of my youthfulness,' Sam said.

Democratic Ieader

Three Elephant Party Em pees met Ka-Roo and pleaded with him to take over the leadership.

But Ka-Roo, who believes in democracy, said he could not support sinister moves but would only take over with a proper mandate.
