CRICKET: Dhammika Rajapaksa hit an unbeaten 142 to put Sri Lanka Police SC in contention for an outright victory over Singha SC Ambalangoda on the second day of their SLC Premier Trophy inter club Tier B league tournament match continued at Reid Avenue yesterday.

Police SC: 155 and 307 for 7 (C. Kuruppu 25, A. Priyantha 28, D. Rajapaksa 142 n.o., N. Weerasinghe 72 n.o., H. de Silva 3 for 4, S. Gamage 2 for 52).

Singha SC: 155.

Army take first innings lead

Sri Lanka Army SC took a close first innings lead over Lankan CC on the second day of their SLC Premier Trophy inter club Tier B league tournament match continued at Panagoda yesterday.
