A magnificent 'Muthurath' opening ceremony revealed a new teledrama into the drama scene with a star-studded affair at the Hitlon.

Great director Burmin Lylie Fernando unveiled his new teledrama Guru Geetheye along with the help of producer Gayan Thenuwara.

A fitting speech given by Burmin's best friend T.B.Herath made the occasion more memorable. Gravity Entertainment is the film company sanctioning this.

The main actor is Ranjan Ramanayake who for the first time acts as an older man and Dilhani Ekanayake who depicts his daughter.

The story is woven around the old-age senior citizen's life when he offers guidance in the form of tuition to his children. The script is intertwined with emotion and an air of humbleness that prevails through the house.

The cast are youthful and talented with the likes of Kanchana Mendis, Nirosha Maithree and many others contributing to make this teledrama interesting.

The teledrama is expected to be aired on Swarnavahini on the peak teledrama belt.
