Dear Mom,

I took a canvas and set out to paint
?My World? would be a nice pick I thought
A warm and comfy little hut was fixed in the middle of my canvas real soon
Hm.... that gave me a feeling of security and shelter
As it brought to my mind thoughts of you dear mom...
it is you who have always been my shelter for harsh sun and heavy rain

Then, I drew a shady tree
Which I purposely planted close to my home...
This tree, I pictured in a hue of green
which would add a soothing coolness to my home...
Again my thoughts ran to you dear mom,
you were that magnificent tree
In beauty, strength and uniqueness no one
could ever measure up to thee

Now, one side of my canvas seemed to be quite empty...
As I dipped my brush in water, while you stood by my side
I knew what was lacking in the picture a river to fill the gap
So I let my brush take its pick and it flew from end to end
Just like your gentle kindness which never meets an end....
my river ran forever knowing not where to stop
Many a passer-by would stop to have a sip
They would find out if they happened to sit by the bank
what wonders kindness could do
And to say that you are ?My mother,? wow....
what an honour it?s to me

There was still a wide open space behind my hut and tree,
which was quickly filled up with mountains of opportunity
Opportunity... to which you led us all throughout our lives
Mountains, when reached higher grounds could only mean Success!
Success, which could have never been
without you by us everyday

My picture wasn?t complete without the sun
Chasing away all the sorrow and pain,
spreading its glorious rays
Yep! mom, it is you indeed who lit up my path
andy your charming smile

Maybe... my picture needed a rainbow to paint the world,
I thought to myself about this while painting the sky in blue
Mother dearest, it is your teaching that?s still in me
this colour blended world
where black and white is not alone

Today as you guide me from way up high above
I know I am blessed indeed,
?Cause the God Almighty chose long ago to keep me under your care
to show me how life?s journey should be tackled
As I proudly say to the world today and thank the Lord above,
?There is no mom in the entire Universe to beat you, my dearest mom?

An Empty Heart....

This is for all the girls out there, who left their boyfriends!!!

Babe.....
You gave me a chance to live...
When my whole heart was abused
You gave me a world of Love
But it is (over now)......

Can you say why my girl...
Then I can die for sure
With this loneliness
I cannot (live for sure).....

Oh babe! tell me now
What shall I do with this?
Now it?s an empty heart, no one needs, no one cares

You know my love is true...
And that is why
My heart so yearns
You left me on road
There?s no one I know....

I?ll live with stars at night
And seeing your sight by side
And now I got only one
That is my (empty heart).....

Girl, take my breath and live along with joy and smile.........

Monsieur Zola and you

(Dedicated to the greatest French novelist, Emile Zola and the girl who ironed attire)

Controversial French novelist
Major figure in political liberty
Proponent of naturalism
I ink my pen to write thyself.

Monsieur Zola, thy lonely self
I witness after those silent years
So broke relied on sparrows on a sill
Thy lonely self vigorously shines.

He who is lonesome in a crowd sees thee
Indeed sees thee and thy lonely self
Unable to fatham the affection which yields
Drowns himself in the blissful sea.

Thy indifference to the lass who ironed
Isn?t it the same to the one who writes?
Oh Monsieur Zola, it?s a century and six
The ample bit is left for me!

Waiting

cornered in a corner
waiting in the dark
unable to see but
hopes for a shadow
it?s no use but
he won?t listen
he doesn?t give up
even his eyes are soaken
why doesn?t he knock
on the door he waits to be open
?it?s not time yet? he says
when others ask him ?why??
She is behind the door
waiting for a knock
only smiles and talks
with him through the window
one thing she cannot understand
That is the love he has for her
his love is just waiting till she accomplish
her dreams before it comes to him...

A s a symbol of love he built it
L eaving his love there that lasts forever

Beside the bank of river Yamuna
