CBL group achieves 53% growth in 2007/08
The annual Distributor Convention and Star Awards Presentation

At this event the performance of the last financial year was reviewed
and it was revealed that CBL as a group had achieved a volume growth of
over 53 % during the financial year 2007/8.
All product ranges marketed by CBL have recorded a substantial growth
as illustrated in the Sales Managers’ presentations.
Despite production constraints the Munchee Biscuits range recorded a
growth of 24% as against the previous year while the growth achieved by
Ritzbury Chocolates is 45% compared to the previous year’s performance.
Lankasoy brand of Soya products have achieved a growth of 10% .
The newest additions to the company’s product portfolio, Samaposha
has recorded an impressive growth of 65% and the 70% growth in Tiara
Cakes is remarkable during the 2007/8 financial year.
Anil Kumara, the company’s Ehiliyagoda Sales representative bagged
the prestigious CBL Star award as the most outstanding Sales
Representative of the company for the year 2007/8 at the Annual
Distribution convention. He received his award from M. P. Wickramasingha,
Chairman of CBL group.
Anil Kumara also won the Senior Star Award of the B range which
comprises Sales Team handling Munchee biscuits Sales.
Meanwhile, the Senior Star award of the A range was awarded to Rukman
Senanayake, Sales Representative, Trincomalee for his outstanding
performance in Ritzbury and Tiara sales. Thushera Dissanayaka Lankasoy
and Samaposha Sales Representative in Padukka was the recipient of the
Senior Star Award of the C range. |
