RN group of companies awarded ISO certificate

The RN group of companies received the ISO 9001 and ISO 2000 certificate. The special feature is that the sub companies of RN group of the companies, RN Constructions (Pvt) Ltd., RN Readymix (Pvt) Ltd., RN Cement Products (Pvt) Ltd and Amalgamated Building Systems Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. were awarded this certificate at the same time.

The RN group of companies launched a new business venture", ABSL Roofing Products (Pvt) Ltd. to meet the needs of roofing products for housing and commercial requirements.

In Sri Lanka, 35% of construction work has been undertaken by us and our aim is to increase it to 60% in the future", said Chairman and Managing Director of the RN group of companies, Ruwan Edirisinghe.

The new steel buildings in Sri Lanka have been introduced by the RN group of companies.

The tallest steel building in Sri Lanka was set up by them.

Nearly 350 construction projects have been completed so far. In addition the RN group of companies has constructed cinema halls, housing complexes, warehouse complexes, factory complexes, processing plants, oil refineries, aircraft hangers, commercial complexes, road and bridge construction works and undertakes electrical insulation work, aluminium work and other mechanical services.

The RN group of companies was started on a small scale with three workers in 1996.

Today the workforce of the group of companies is about 940 including the 140 professional inhouse staff and 800 workers.
