Lankans hold anti-terrorism rally in London

Sri Lankan organisations in UK have organised a rally to request the British government to ban LTTE terrorist activities including fund-raising in the guise of various charity organisations.

We would like to create awareness and educate people about the truth and the relevant facts relating to the false propaganda that has been publicised in UK by the LTTE sympathisers and their media network, Sri Lal Dias, President of the Hounslow Sri Lanka Janahanda Foundation said.

He said we had organised events in the past in London which have led to the establishment of a national front to fight against terrorism in Sri Lanka. The rally will be held opposite, No. 10, Downing Street, London today at 1.30 p.m.
