Kandy Public Services Club to promote sports

To encourage sports.... The Public Services Club of Kandy has taken steps to promote sports in a big way in the district. The club celebrated its 62nd anniversary last month and took several meaningful decisions for the promotion of sports activities.

A six-a-side softball cricket tournament for clubs in Kandy, Billiards and Snooker tournament for clubs in the Central Province, a Bridge tournament and a Women’s cricket tournament are some of the sporting events that they decided to embark on.
