Remembrance Service & Interment of Ashes – MRS IRANGANI WIJEWARDENA (nee RANASINGHE). 28.02.1947 – 12.05.2008. Former Chief Pharmacist, Peradeniya Teaching Hospital. Passed away peacefully at home in Melbourne, Australia. She was the Cherished wife of Mr Sanath Wijewardena, beloved mother of Dr Subashini Rudolph and much-loved mother-in-law of Dr Navin Rudolph. She was dear to her parents Henry and Daisy Ranasinghe, both expired and her brothers Lakshman - Sydney & Brian. She will be sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Nandani, Muriel, Yoko & Jayanthi. She will be affectionately remembered by Dingiri and her close extended family who were touched by her benevolence and overwhelming compassion. A remembrance service will be held at St John’s Anglican Church, Gatambe, commencing at 10 a.m. on Sunday 17th August, concluding with the interment of her ashes.
