Who’s responsible?

Ra-Blue summoned his inner circle after his own surveys disclosed that the governing types would win both the North Central and Sabaragamuwa PC polls. “The provincial organisers must take responsibility if they lose,” Ra-Blue said hinting on the gloomy future of Es Bee.

Useless exercise

Greatly perturbed by his own findings on PC polls, Ra-Blue later summoned his seniors and ordered all Em Pees to work full time in the two provinces. But over 18 Green Em Pees have disregarded the order and are keeping away from the Green campaign, which they call another useless exercise.

Firing leader

At least six senior Elephant Party stalwarts are gearing to overthrow their leader after Saturday’s PC pools. “We can’t end up in the losing camp all the time. Either he must go or we should join the winning team. We won’t allow him to put the blame on anyone if the party loses this time too,” a Ratnapura stalwart said.

Desperate attempt

The Bell Boys are making a desperate attempt to build their image which is fast fading. They have gone back to their old habit of using undergraduates as scapegoat.

“There is no difference, the Tigers are using human shields and the Bell Boys are using undergraduate shields,” an onlooker said.

Troubled waters

Sun Kind-Leader is sailing in troubled waters, having indulged in a fishy foreign transaction worth millions of rupees. Investigators have disclosed the exact amount made on channelling dollars and into whose hands the foreign funding has gone to. Poor fellow is on the mat!

Beijing passengers

Big-House was in the Olympic city for the sporting extravaganza. On his return home, he told the media that he saw many ‘unknown characters’ from Sri Lanka in the Chinese capital. One wonders whether he is going to investigate who these unknown officials are.
