Assault on Wijeya employees: Three remanded

A driver and two other persons who allegdly assaulted few employees of the Wijeya Newspaper Group at Park Road, Colombo 2,following an argument over parking space were remanded pending further inquiries, the police Media spokesman said.

Police said the driver and two others had accompanied the former Mrs World, Rosie Senanayake's son in a vehicle to witness a fashion show held at Park Road Slave Island. A section of the Wijeya Newspaper is located at Park Road, Colombo 2.
